The Coton Centre is an ideal venue for your event or meeting.
The Coton Centre is a large and spacious building situated on the north edge of Tamworth, in a rural and tranquil setting of trees and fields, and ideal for conferences, concerts and other community and organisational-based activities.
The Centre contains 3 large areas for hire, (lounge, hall and auditorium), hold 50'-500 people, plus 3-5 smaller rooms which hold 2-20 people. There is also a kitchen which can be used upon request by hirers, and a large car park on the site.
We can provide refreshments, if required, from simple tea, coffee and biscuits, to a buffet lunch, or if you prefer, you can supply your own.
Free on-site car parking for up to 300 vehicles.

Auditorium

With cathedral like acoustics ideal for concerts, musical productions, performing arts, conferences, training days, seminars, awards evenings, exhibitions and networking events. Tiered seating and floor seating area, total capacity of 500, stage and performance floor, sound and visual technicians available.

The Hall
​
A creative, multi-purpose area giving a blank canvas for tailored events with garden access. Seats up to 100. Ideal for training and teaching seminars. Flexible seating arrangements. Screens, tables and flip charts available.

The Lounge
​
A light and airy room overlooking the beautiful garden. Flexible enough to use for meetings or training. This room also has access to the garden and can sit up to 50 people.

Seminar room 1
Formally known as the Foyer Room, suitable for groups up to 20 people, perfect for a small meeting or seminar. This is a closed room, allowing privacy and comfort.

Seminar rooms 2 & 3
The Coton Centre also offers 2 smaller rooms, ideal for groups up to 12, and perfect for small/private meetings, a quiet space or one to one discussions.

Meeting Rooms 4
A quiet place for one to one meetings in an informal environment, ideal for individual counselling sessions, appraisals or meeting of up to 5 people.

Gardens
We have extensive gardens connected to the Lounge room, grassed and suitable for BBQ's and events that need an outdoor space.

The Kitchen
Subject to submission of relevant certification and compliance with our specific requirements, we can also offer access for large events to our kitchen and utensils. Our kitchen includes fridges/freezes to keep food cool, plates, bowls and cups for prepared meals and constant hot water ideal for c those wanting to book refreshments or tea & coffee.

About us
The Coton Centre is a multi-purpose venue in the heart of the England in Tamworth, Staffordshire, around 20miles from Birmingham.

The Coton Centre is the home of Coton Green Church (a charity under UK law). The Church was part of the vision of our founding pastor Rev David Shearer, who lead the building of the centre some 30 years ago.
The 71/2 acre site is part of the churches vision to help, support and be of service to the local communities of Tamworth, Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
